Plymouth Energy Committee

The Plymouth Energy Committee is a volunteer group established by Town Meeting to examine energy related issues and opportunities as they apply to the town of Plymouth.

 

We have created this web site as a tool to disseminate information about our efforts and projects, educate the community on energy issues.

Dec 15, 2009 - The Town of Plymouth has been working hard to save energy and in doing so saving money.  On the back of the Plymouth 2020 Energy Plan which was created by the Town’s Energy Committee and supported by the Board of Selectmen the Town has been looking at all aspects of their energy and fuel consumption.

Jan 6, 2010 - The Energy Committee has submitted Public Wind Project Site Assessment Applications for 3 sites (Indian Brook, 1000 Acres and the 41 acre parcel next to the Cedarville Water Tower).

Mar 17, 2010 - Met Tower assembly begins at Plymouth South High School.
