The Town of Plymouth was one of three communities given a 2009 Leading by Example Environmental Innovation Award at a State House Ceremony. Senate President Therese Murray, Secretary of Energy and Environmental Affairs Ian Bowles and State Representative Vinny deMacedo presented the award to Selectmen John Mahoney and Special Assistant to the Town Manage, Energy Officer Patrick O’Brien.
The Town of Plymouth has been working hard to save energy and in doing so saving money. On the back of the Plymouth 2020 Energy Plan which was created by the Town’s Energy Committee and supported by the Board of Selectmen the Town has been looking at all aspects of their energy and fuel consumption.

The Energy Committee votes to submit Public Wind Project Site Assessment Applications for 3 sites (Indian Brook, 1000 Acres and the 41 acre parcel next to the Cedarville Water Tower).
Welcome!
